Over the next 7 days we will be surrendering our lives together before our Heavenly father as we fast and pray. We are going to be giving up food from sunrise to sunset, as one body, to gain spiritual nourishment from the Father, to intercede for our church and this city, and to release our lives from the hold of this world.
This is a fast that we are calling our whole Church body to join in with together. Like in Joel 2:15-16, a congregational fast was called when it is written, "Blow a trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly. Gather the people, consecrate the assembly." Also, in Acts 13:2 the body in Antioch were fasting and praying together. "While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting." We are following the way of scripture and believing for a move of God like never seen before among us and this city.
