We are Oasis Youth Chicago.
Our young people have a role to play in seeing Chicago flourish, and we’re going to see it happen in our lifetime. Our heart is to develop, equip and send out our youth, and have fun while doing it. Come along and join us!
The Details
Oasis Youth is for students aged 6th to 12th Grade, meeting on Wednesday nights and on Sundays during our services.
Wednesdays
- Meet on the 3rd Wednesdays of the month
- 6:30pm–8:30pm
- Oasis Office (2038 W 18th St) or at locations for special events
Sundays
We desire to see our students included in the life of our church! Their presence is so important. So we’ve created a monthly rhythm, which sees them serving, joining in the service, and also weeks of youth-only teaching. See details below.
What to expect
Sundays
Here is our monthly rhythm for how Sundays work. We believe our student have something to contribute to the life of the church, so we’ve included opportunities for them to serve and join us:
Week 1 → Students serve on Sunday (like the Hospitality or Production Team).
Week 2 → Yth Teaching Week
Week 3 → Join corporate gathering
Week 4 → Yth Discussion Week (reflecting / breaking down previous week’s word)
Week 5 (if there is one) → Student choice!
Wednesdays
Wednesday are a fun-focused event with short teaching, discussion, prayer, games and food. Every quarter, we have a big event (eg. worship night, local event, trampoline park, etc.).
